James Yardley Schaaf, Jr.

Savannah- James Yardley Schaaf, Jr., 56, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at his residence under the care of Hospice.
He was a native and life-long resident of Savannah. James worked for Champion Machine for 38 years. He was a member of ILA Local 1475, and the Catholic Community.
Survivors include his son, Barrett Schaaf Julia, of Savannah; daughters, Amber Peacock, Kenneth, of Springfield, VA, Tiffany Consos Stephen, of Rincon; father, James Yardley Schaaf, Sr. and mother, Barbara Schaaf, both of Savannah; brother, Barry Schaaf, of Savannah; sisters, Margie Cofrey, of Savannah, Audrey Lewis, of Claxton, Janet Schaaf, of Savannah, and six grandchildren.
Rosary and Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
